    A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A Clinical Services Billing and Contracts Specialist

    As a Clinical Services Billing and Contracts Specialist, your role involves receiving, reviewing, and reconciling incoming invoices for payment processing via check, credit card, and EFT. You will also facilitate the execution of contracts related to laboratory services agreements. Additionally, you will collaborate with accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll departments as needed to support financial operations. Furthermore, you will assist in the preparation of annual audits as assigned by management.

    QUALIFICATIONS

    EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE

  • Minimum Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Experience in reconciling financial statements and managing financial data with a high level of accuracy.
  • Proficiency in using accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel for financial analysis and reporting.
  • Strong understanding of regulatory requirements related to healthcare billing and IRS forms.
  • Experience in facilitating contract execution, including understanding contract terms and conditions, negotiation skills, and contract administration.
  • Actively displays behaviors that support the mission, vision, and values of Castle Biosciences.
  • Preferred Requirements
  • Minimum of two years of experience in a related position preferred.WORK SCHEDULE

    Hybrid work schedule including some days in the office and some out of the office.
