    Job Description


    American Traveler is hiring an experienced Med/Surg RN for a night shift float pool position requiring a TN or compact RN license and prior travel experience.

    Responsibilities

    • Work in a hospital Med/Surg float pool setting
    • Float between five Med/Surg units as needed
    • Assignments may include occasional floating to the ER
    • Patient population consists of adults (18+), general Med/Surg cases
    • Patient ratios range from 1:1 to 1:6
    • Uses Cerner EMR system
    • 12-hour night shifts from 7pm to 7am
    • Weekend shifts are required
    • Unit self-schedules
    • Candidates may be assigned to float to the ER as staffing needs arise
    • Navy scrubs are required for all shifts
    • Team-based environment with floating between Med/Surg units
    • Specific orientation dates available

    Requirements

    • Active TN or compact RN license required at time of consideration
    • Minimum 2 years of Med/Surg RN experience required
    • Prior travel nursing experience required
    • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
