    Description
    Our Client is currently in search of a DevSecOps Engineer to provide support for a National Missile Defense Project located in Colorado Springs, CO and Huntsville, AL.

    Position Overview:

    The chosen candidate will collaborate with the DevSecOps team to create and implement Infrastructure as a Service and Platform as a Service capabilities.

    Responsibilities include system administration across multiple environments, software deployment, issue resolution, and automation within the DevSecOps framework for a vital customer initiative. We employ top-notch DevOps methodologies and tools such as HashiCorp Tools, Gitlab CI/CD, Ansible Tower, and Nexus Pro.


    • Handle system administration tasks related to hardware and software in diverse network environments.
    • Aid in the deployment of tailored software solutions by integrating COTS, GOTS, and internally developed software.
    • Suggest enhancements to system administration processes to streamline maintenance requirements in collaboration with the design team and vendors.
    • Define system requirements, input/output processes, and operational parameters to ensure hardware/software compatibility and system configuration maintenance.
    • Identify, analyze, and resolve program support issues, proposing corrective measures when necessary.
    • Provide technical guidance for database administrators and software developers.
    Essential Technical Skills:

    Minimum Qualifications:


    • Proficiency in Linux or Windows System Administration.
    • Scripting abilities in languages like bash or PowerShell.
    • Hands-on experience with automation techniques.
    Desired Qualifications:


    • Understanding of DevSecOps principles.
    • Proficiency with Ansible Automation Platform, including Ansible Tower.
    • Experience with HashiCorp Packer and Vault.
    • Familiarity with Gitlab CI/CD.
    • Knowledge of Nexus.
    • Experience in virtualization technologies, particularly VMware.
    • Familiarity with HP server configurations.
    • Hold a CompTIA Security+ (or equivalent) DoD M IAT Level II Certification.
    Must possess strong communication skills, both written and verbal, utilizing Microsoft PowerPoint and Visio drawing tools effectively.

    Should be capable of working independently on significant projects when required, while also collaborating within a team environment alongside other DevSecOps engineers, program developers, and deployment teams.

    Required Education:

    Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or similar fields (e.g., EE, CIS, CPE, MIS, IT).
