    A healthcare staffing agency is looking for a Cardiac Cath Lab RN Travel Nurse to work in Portland, Maine for a 13-week travel assignment.

    The ideal candidate should have an active RN license, a degree from an accredited nursing program, BLS and ACLS certifications, and at least 18 months of recent experience in an acute care Cath Lab setting.

    The primary duties and responsibilities of the Cardiac Cath Lab RN will be to perform angioplasties, implants pacemakers and diagnose cardiac conditions with invasive catheterization procedure including administering care for heart disease and heart attack patients by obtaining visual diagnostics of the arteries of the heart, identifying blockages, assisting the physician during procedures, and monitoring the patient's status at other times, and administering interventional procedures like cardiac catheterizations, angioplasties, pacemaker and/or defibrillator implantation, and related interventional or diagnostic procedures.
