    A Better Choice Home Health Care is a rapidly growing home health care agency located in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, striving to become the top choice for both home care services and job opportunities in Allegheny and neighboring communities.

    In recent years, the importance of caregivers has become increasingly evident as they not only assist with basic needs but also provide companionship during times of isolation.

    As a home health aide at A Better Choice Home Health Care, you will have the opportunity to build meaningful relationships, enhance the quality of life, and support elderly and disabled individuals by offering love, care, and companionship in the comfort of their own homes. Your role will involve assisting individuals with daily functions such as meal preparation, light exercise, local transportation, social interactions, and housekeeping, ultimately bringing joy and encouragement to the clients and relief to their families.

    We are currently seeking compassionate, reliable, and service-minded individuals to join our expanding team of home health aides. To excel in this position, you should have a genuine interest in healthcare and the ability to prioritize the needs of the patients while working independently.

    Job Responsibilities:

    • Monitors patient condition by observing physical and mental well-being, intake and output, and exercise.
    • Supports patients with housekeeping, laundry, meal preparation, and running errands.
    • Assists patients with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
    • Educates patients on self-care practices and equipment.
    • Provides advice on nutrition, cleanliness, and housekeeping.
    • Records patient information accurately and maintains a safe environment.
    • Adheres to professional standards and home care policies.
    • Enhances service reputation and explores opportunities to add value.

    Home Health Aides Requirements:

    • High school diploma or GED.
    • Reliable transportation.
    • Minimum age of 18 years.
    • Ability to provide references.
    • Able to work independently and follow instructions.
    • Good personal hygiene.
    • Passing drug testing and background checks.
    • At least 1 year of experience.

    We are currently hiring for all shifts in Washington County, Westmoreland County, Beaver, Allegheny County, and surrounding areas.
