    Paul Plant, responsible for taking timely rounds on equipment and performing operational functions as needed for safe and reliable operations.

    Assists in the operation of high-pressure boilers and plant equipment to provide steam and compressed air to the customer in a safe and efficient manner.

    Inspects, operates and adjusts pumps, turbines and equipment associated with safe plant operations.
    Performs boiler and water treatment analyses, as necessary, to ensure efficient plant operations.

    Performs major repairs and maintenance on boilers and auxiliary equipment to prevent shutdown and ensure proper operation in a safe and efficient manner.

    Cleans and performs minor building maintenance to enhance a safe work environment.
    Trains and instructs new Senior Operating Engineers to convey company policies and procedures.
    Performs other operating functions as needed to ensure uninterrupted operation of the plant.

    Dependent on assignment, work schedule may involve rotating shifts (8 or 12 hours) to include some weekends and holidays and/or straight days.

    Overtime can be either voluntary or mandatory. Scheduled overtime is an element of the rotating shift assignment.

    Education :
    High school graduate or equivalent. Vo-tech training or equivalent as a boiler operator.
    Three years of work in a large, high pressure steam heating plant or in high pressure boiler operation.

    Licenses/Certifications :
