    Join us in this role where you'll provide development project management support for site identification and fatal flaw analysis, land acquisition, permitting/regulatory approvals, site evaluation and technical studies, interconnection, transmission, power marketing, and project financing.

    You'll be part of Project Development team where you, together with your colleagues, will identify and mature wind, solar, and storage projects in the US.     You'll play an important role in:

    • Creation and maintenance of project management tools for the development of wind, solar and battery projects, including project checklists, file systems, meeting agendas, land status and layout maps, Smartsheets and other project databases using Orsted's internal tools and systems.
    • identifying development prospects, incl. market assessments, initial site reconnaissance, and fatal flaw identification
    • establishing and managing relationships with stakeholders, incl. elected officials, regulators, utilities, RTOs, and community leaders, to support project development
    • creating, managing, controlling, and evaluating development projects, schedules, and budgets from site identification to COD
    • coordinating with internal resources, such as the Legal, Engineering, Construction, Finance, and Energy Assessment teams, to drive projects forward
    • conducting development review of project contracts, incl. real estate, tax abatement, EPC/BOP, PPA, GIA, and other binding agreements.
    To succeed in the role, you:
    • have 2+ years' experience in project management or renewable energy,
    • have a bachelor's degree, preferably in a field, such as energy, engineering, finance, construction, or environmental studies,
    • are proficient in standard computer programs, incl. Microsoft PowerPoint, Word, and Excel
    • possess strong communication skills, both written and oral
