    Description


    Performs clerical, receptionist and unit secretarial duties in the Emergency Department; functions within policies, procedures and guidelines of Sturdy Memorial Hospital.

    16 Hour Day (7am - 3pm/8am - 4pm)

    Required Skills/Qualifications/Training/Experience:
    Demonstrates knowledge and skills in a professional manner, good organizational skills, personal maturity, accuracy and flexibility.

    Must possess excellent interpersonal, communication and adaptability skills, creating a favorable image in relationship to the Emergency Department and the hospital as a whole.

    Must develop and maintain positive relationships across all areas of responsibility.

    Demonstrate commitment to customer relations and all basic concepts of continuous quality improvement and preventing error from reaching the patient.

    Provides timely, positive responses to the needs of all customers including patients, families, co-workers, and physicians.
    Must have the ability to operate and trouble-shoot clerical equipment.


    Preferred Skills/Qualifications/Training/Experience:
    Previous Unit Coordinator Experience

    Educational Requirements:

    High School Graduate or equivalentLicense/Certification:
