    We are currently seeking a talented and team-oriented Summer Intern - Sustainability Analyst. The ideal candidate will be responsible for conducting and comparing greenhouse gas emissions and lifecycle analysis of parts made by Seurat's novel Area Printing technology to legacy manufactured parts. Expect to wear many hats in this highly collaborative, fast-paced startup environment, as you will be involved in all aspects of development. This is an opportunity to be part of a world class team, leveraging and expanding the capabilities of the fastest 3D metal printer in the world

    Job Responsibilities:

    • Conduct lifecycle analysis on parts manufactured using Seurat's Area Printing technology from various sources such as energy consumption, transportation, industrial processes, and waste management.
    • Compare the 'cradle to grave' environmental impact of Seurat's novel manufacturing process with legacy manufacturing techniques.
    • Predict benefits and indirect emission reductions due to Seurat's Area Printing technology
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather data and insights necessary for comprehensive analysis.
    • Develop models and methodologies for assessing greenhouse gas emissions and lifecycle impacts.
    • Identify opportunities for optimization and improvement in Seurat's manufacturing process to minimize environmental footprint.
    • Prepare succinct, accurate reports and presentations to communicate findings to internal stakeholders and external partners.
    • Stay updated on industry standards and regulations related to emissions and sustainability in manufacturing.
    Qualifications:
    • Currently or recently enrolled in a relevant undergraduate or graduate program in environmental science, sustainability, engineering, economics, or related field.
    • Strong analytical and organizational skills with experience in data analysis and interpretation.
    • Familiarity with lifecycle assessment methodologies and greenhouse gas accounting principles.
    • Proficiency in software tools for data analysis, such as Excel, MATLAB, Python.
    • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
    • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, for effectively presenting findings and insights.
    • Ability to adapt to evolving priorities and handle multiple projects simultaneously.
    • Enthusiasm for contributing to a cutting-edge technology company focused on revolutionizing manufacturing and promoting sustainability.
    Preferred:
    • Prior experience or coursework in additive manufacturing, materials science, or industrial engineering is a plus.
