    Roles & Responsibilities:

    Main Responsibilities:


    Lead and manage social media for the Park including content capture and posting on social media sites including but not limited to Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok.

    Support annual site marketing plans in line with Merlin.
    Ensure that all telephone calls and postal inquiries are promptly handled, and all potential opportunities are followed up.
    Manage creation and approval processes for marketing assets and content.
    Develop and execute special events and activities both in the Park and around the community.
    Coordinate CRM creative and approvals.
    Leaflet distribution

    including execution and monitoring.
    Promotions

    from concept to delivery, including analysis.
    Website updated to manage all local content.
    Send relevant press releases to the appropriate press by the required date.
    Build effective relationships with local, regional, and trade press.

    Keep a diary of all press coverage and ensure a monthly PR pack is maintained and sent to relevant brand central teams.

    Support the PR Manager with PR activity as required.
    Contribute views and recommendations regarding any aspect of attraction developments that may impact the public image of these attractions.

    In conjunction with the Park marketing team, the General Manager, and the Central Marketing team, identify, secure, and execute regional and local sales promotions.

    Work with third parties to deliver a minimum of local/regional promotions annually.
    Ensure that the administration and process linked to the following are maintained and updated according to company guidelines and best practices:
    Leaflet distribution
    Promotions (including analysis)
    Social Media Content Capture and Posting
    Special Events
    Asset Management and Approvals
    Mass Media

    Digital:
    E-commerce, CRM, and Website

    Network with local commerce and organizations (e.g., other attractions, schools, regional groups, etc.).
    Assist in managing agencies to ensure all deadlines and milestones are met.
    Evaluate promotions to understand the effectiveness of the mechanics, offers, and promotions.
    Ability to measure ROI (return on investment) for sales initiatives.
    Ability to influence at all levels.
    Other duties as assigned.


    Health & Safety:

    Qualifications & Experience:

    About you:
    A college degree in communication, marketing, or related field or equivalent experience.
    Experience in promotions and/or marketing, specifically developing and executing promotional partnerships.
    Extensive knowledge of Microsoft Office, Photoshop, and/or video editing is a plus.
    Excellent communication and motivational skills.
    Proven ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously and multitask, as necessary.
    Great organization skills, detail-oriented, and a self-starter.
    Ability to work with people from all levels of discipline.
    Openness to new learning and quickly adapt to change.
    Basic computer skills to enter customer data with the ability to type accurately at least 25wpm.
    Must be willing to work flexible hours, including evenings, holidays, and weekends to support site operations.


    Pay Range:
    Compensation between USD $20.00/Hr.-USD $21.00/Hr.
