    PRN Weekend Hospice RN On Call Seeking a nursing opportunity where you can make a real impact? Interim HealthCare Hospice is hiring a compassionate PRN ONCALL Hospice RN for weekend support starting Friday at 5:30pm until Monday at 8:30am.

    In this role, you'll be the face of courage and the strong arms of support for patients, and their families need to find comfort and closure during this significant season of life.

    As a Hospice ON CALL Registered Nurse, here's a big-picture view of what you'll do:Provide hospice patient care after-hours and weekends, as needs arise for our patientsEnable patients to spend quality time with loved ones and participating Work as part of an interdisciplinary team comprised of a physician, LPN, CNA, HHA, social worker, chaplain and volunteers to carry out the patient's plan of care.

    Perform patient assessments, check vitals, evaluate breathing, monitor pain, administer prescribed medication and treatments.

    Ensure accessibility of medical equipment, prescribed oxygen, medication and other suppliesEducate family on the patient's prognosis, changes in care plan, medication and hospice goals.

    Take a holistic approach to care that engages the patient's mind, body, spirit and family. A few must-haves for our Hospice ON CALL

    Registered Nurses:

    Registered Nurse (RN) licenseCPR certificationValid car insurance Prior Hospice experience 1+ years Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skillsExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsProficiency in medical terminology and understanding of Hospice nursing careAbility to work independently and manage time effectively.
