- Practice type: Inpatient CT/CV surgery service
- Call required: N/A
- Schedule: AT LEAST 12 shifts per month - week is Friday-Thursday, Shift times: some 8s but mostly 10s, typically 6a-4p
- Staff on Shift: 3 MDs - 8 APPs and 4 CVOR Anesthesiologists
- Types of Cases: 100% adult, rounding on inpatient CT surgery cases
- CVICU is a 10 bed unit with 3 dedicated CV ORs, and a 6 bed step down unit.
- Incoming provider will first assist in all cardiac and thoracic operations and manage the CVICU and step down unit, and help run the consult service; must be comfortable with vein harvesting
- EMR: EPIC
- Credentialing: Can get privs in 30 days for clean files
- Required Certifications/Cred Items: Must be BC, Must have ACLS and ATLS. Must have DEA and CSR
