    Job Summary:

    The Cleveland Cavaliers and Rock Entertainment Group are looking for a passionate, analytically minded Team Member who wants to grow their career by creating data insights to influence business decisions and strategy. The role will primarily focus on the Cleveland Cavaliers business operations/revenue, but will also work with all properties associated with Rock Entertainment Group (Cleveland Monsters, Cleveland Charge, Cavs Legion GC, and Rocket Mortgage Field House Events). The role is part of the business intelligence team which provides insights, reporting and analysis throughout the enterprise including ticket sales and service, corporate partnerships, premium sales and service, marketing, food and beverage, merchandise sales, and digital.

    Responsibilities:

    • Serve as a bridge between sales and marketing teams, facilitating the extraction of actionable insights and provision of data-driven tools to enhance ticket sales decision-making.
    • Optimize lead management processes to empower sales representatives in handling leads efficiently and effectively.
    • Develop and maintain data visualizations, structured reporting and ad hoc reports in support of the organization's decision-making processes.
    • Analyze sales data and market trends to identify opportunities for improvement and inform strategic decision-making.
    • Partner with stakeholders throughout the organization to maintain an integrated data and analysis strategy.
    • Collaborate with data and IT experts to develop business requirements around new data requests and new data sources.
    • Endeavor to contribute positively to the culture of the organization.
    • Foster a culture of data-driven decision-making, promoting collaboration and knowledge sharing.

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Business Analytics, Marketing, Statistics or relevant field
    • 1+ years of related professional experience in business intelligence, analytics, strategy or consulting
    • Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data analysis tools such as Excel, SQL, or Tableau.
    • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex ideas and insights to cross-functional teams.
    • Experience in lead management and CRM systems preferred.
    • Demonstrated ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
    • Passion for sports and entertainment and a keen understanding of fan behavior and engagement trends.
