    Overview

    Bellwether Community Credit Union (BCCU) is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented professional for the position of Deposit Services Representative I. For over 100 years, we've made New Hampshire our home and have provided thoughtful guidance and customized solutions to help our members.


    The Role

    This entry-level position is responsible for servicing all consumer and business deposit products and services. The employee will also support the Operations Team and other departments with various operational and administrative tasks.


    Key Responsibilities

    • Complete daily functions of the Deposit Services Department within service level agreement timelines:
    • Deposit Service Account maintenance
    • Member Person Record Maintenance
    • Processing of Deposits, loan payments, and other transactions
    • Document imaging and quality control
    • Check 21 scanning
    • Exception item processing
    • Returned item processing
    • Account research and verification of deposits
    • Continuously seek process improvement
    • Daily, weekly, monthly, and annual review of reports

    Additional Tasks

    • Process mail, courier items, and distribute packages
    • Answer doorbell, assist vendors, and accept deliveries
    • Be knowledgeable of all Deposit Services Team functions to act as a backup in case of absence
    • Safeguard customer privacy and confidentiality
    • Ensure physical security and compliance with state and federal regulations
    • Understand and comply with BSA Regulations

    Requirements

    1. Professional interpersonal skills for communicating with staff, members, and vendors
    2. Dependable team member with strong communication skills
    3. Ability to cross-train on all team functions
    4. Intermediate mathematical skill required
    5. Comfort with Microsoft Office and new applications
    6. Strong multi-tasking ability and effective resolution achievement
