    Job Description

    LHH Recruitment Solutions is seeking an Accounting Specialist that will be responsible for supporting the day-to-day transactional accounting functions, including accounts receivable (AR), accounts payable (AP), and payroll. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively within a team. The Accounting Specialist will report directly to the Controller.

    Responsibilities:

    • Process and post customer invoices and payments.
    • Monitor customer accounts for non-payments, delayed payments, and other irregularities.
    • Review, verify, and process vendor invoices and expense reports.
    • Prepare and execute payment runs, ensuring timely payment of invoices.
    • Assist in processing payroll, including timekeeping, deductions, and payroll taxes.
    • Assist with month-end and year-end close processes, including journal entries and account reconciliations.

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
    • 1-3 years of accounting experience
    • Manufacturing industry experience a plus
    • Strong Excel skills

    Compensation:

    $55,000-$65,000

    M/D/V
