    Position Overview

    As the Director of Global Sourcing, you will be responsible for interfacing and providing guidance for our objectives relative to solar manufacturing. Representing Invenergy's Global Sourcing business unit while leading the commercial & operational aspects of the Invenergy's manufacturing entities. The Director, Global Sourcing will directly report into the Executive Vice President.

    Responsibilities:

    Partner with C-Suite internal executives and external stakeholders for commercial contract negotiations, leases, easements, and business development activities.

    Overseeing resource planning, budgeting, and partner to assist with commercial transactions relevant to material supply.

    Develop strong internal and external relationships, interact with businesses, government agencies, environmental groups, and local communities.

    Liaise with the implementation and management of commercial relationships during operational phase.

    Interface with leadership manufacturing teams of Invenergy affiliates, commercial developers, and finance to lead financial strategies: modeling and forecasting for C&I rooftop markets from site acquisition to construction.

    Ability to travel both domestic & international (10% - 20%)

    Ability to reside in Chicago.

    Minimum Qualifications:

    A bachelor's degree in supply chain, engineering, or relevant concentrations

    At least 8+ years of experience in supply chain management

    Understanding of experience within utilities-scale solar industry & market

    Preferred Qualifications:

    At least 5+ years' experience within utilities-scale solar industry

    Ability to present project status to senior level executives.

    Strong understanding of procurement (ASPAC) and US domestic solar panel market

    Working knowledge of leading a solar manufacturing facility, power plant operations, electric transmission and/or power generation technologies.

    Strong relationship-building, strategic-thinking, negotiating and time management skills.

    Demonstrated ability to perform under significant time and pressure conditions.
