- Maintain expert level knowledge of all lending systems.
- Maintain current knowledge of all LCCU lending policies and procedures.
- Assist Consumer and Real Estate departments with report writing, data collection, and analysis.
- Assist with creation of management reports in collaboration with lending areas.
- Supports operations and conducts data analytics projects to provide information and insights to stakeholders for decision-making or solution development.
- Implements data standards and deploys automation tools to extract, synthesize, and validate data from different sources and transform data into usable metrics.
- Constructs data sets, monitors data quality, troubleshoots and resolves database issues to ensure data integrity.
- Utilizes scripting and querying tools like Python, R or SQL, data visualization/BI tools, statistical methods, and data modeling to produce reports, data files, and dashboards.
- Collaborates with stakeholders to understand their needs, objectives, and requirements.
- Bachelor's degree in relevant field strongly preferred with minimum of 2-4 years' experience with Loan Analytics.
- Maintain broad knowledge of real estate and consumer lending products, policies, and guidelines.
- Must have a prominent level of technical aptitude.
- Must present ideas and the results of various analytical reports and statistical tests orally and in writing.
- Must be professional and courteous in all interactions with members and co-workers.
- Must be self-motivated and perform duties at an elevated level.
- Must be organized and detail oriented with ability to multi-task and work well in high pressure environment.
- Must be able to speak and write English fluently. Spanish is a plus.
- Must meet all LCCU (Latino Community Credit Union) mandated education requirements.
- Must set an example for new employees and be comfortable providing guidance in absence of management.
- Must possess an independent and strong work ethic.
- Prior Credit Union experience is a plus.
- Office setting with physical proximity to other employees.
- Some background noise from other employees, copy machine, and telephone.
- Potential for flex schedule.
- Must be able to sit for extended periods of time.
- Must be able to lift thirty (30) pounds.
- Must be able to use hands to press keypad and answer phone calls.

Technical position that will be responsible for building and creating reports by analyzing and extracting data from LCCU systems. Provide support to Real Estate Lending and Consumer Lending. The specialist should have self-learning skills and experience with data warehouses. Lending Quality Control and Compliance experience is a plus.
