- Advise site management of compliance concerns.
- Assist with strategic direction on EHS matters to the site leadership teams.
- Collaborate with client's EHS Corporate team to help drive EHS compliance.
- Implement existing EHS processes consistent with client's policies and standards.
- Participate in project reviews to identify issues/opportunities.
- Participate on work teams or task forces.
- Support the interface with regulatory agencies and third parties, as needed, on compliance and enforcement issues.
- Manage the proper storage, transportation, and disposal of non-hazardous, hazardous, and universal wastes.
- Support air quality compliance assurance and permitting programs, including NESHAP MACT compliance programs and reporting; Title V permit compliance and reporting, and other air related compliance programs as needed.
- Support, train, and assist with an orderly transition of EHS responsibilities after the open position is filled, if needed.
- Bachelor's in safety, occupational health, engineering, or related science degree preferred.
- 7+ years relevant experience working with significant industrial clients on regulatory compliance and sustainable EHS compliance programs.
- Field experience in industrial environments, preferably in process/manufacturing plants and on capital construction projects. Chemical, High Tech, Materials, or Pharmaceutical sector experience desired.
- Be passionate about EHS performance improvement and have substantial experience developing and delivering world-class EHS program solutions.
- Proven track record in developing and implementing successful business growth strategies in the Chemical, High Tech, Materials, or Pharmaceutical sectors, including demonstrated ability to develop and maintain long-term relationships with clients, and book personal sales in new consulting services.
- Recognized technical expertise by and established reputation in the local marketplace.

ERM is hiring an Environmental, Health, & Safety (EHS) Specialist to support a client facility in LaGrange, GA.In this role, you will provide on-site environmental and safety program oversight, industrial hygiene monitoring, technical assistance on environmental health and safety compliance projects, safety management systems, and compliance assurance programs.
This is a full-time (40 hours/week), fixed-term role for a duration of 3 months and the possibility of extension.RESPONSIBILITIES:
