**Job Description:**

+ _Our client is looking to hire experienced electricians (mechanic/journeyman level electricians) in the Ruther Glen/Richmond, VA area_

+ _Previous commercial and industrial electrical experience is vital for consideration. Candidates must be safety conscious, reliable, willing to work, and punctual._

**Required Experience Includes:**

Running rigid (1.5 inch) pipe down to gear box

Wiring 3-way switches

Assembling, installing, testing, and maintaining electrical or electronic wiring, conduit, cable, equipment, components,

and devices associated with electrical equipment, following blueprints of electrical layouts and building plans.

Installing and mounting electronic controls, device, panels, sensors, and components.

Performing interlock wiring as required.

Testing electrical systems and continuity of circuits in electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures, using testing devices.

**All Licensed Electricians are responsible for:**

1. Planning ahead to see work assignments through to completion.

2. Effectively and respectfully communicating with everyone on the team

3. Providing foreman or supervisor with updates of his or her progress to assist with accurate time keeping records and production

4. Inspecting personal and company issued tools to make sure they are optimally functioning and in order

5. Attending weekly safety meetings or toolbox safety talks that contribute to a culture of zero injuries and safety awareness

6. Attending daily pre-task or job-hazard analysis planning meetings on jobsite to obtain instructions for the day of work

7. Complying with all state and local building codes as they pertain to the work being performed

**Additional Skills & Qualifications:**

+ Ability to bend conduit (EMT & Rigid)

+ Previous commercial and industrial electrical experience is vital for consideration.

+ Must have at least 4 years of experience within the electrical field.

+ No apprentices will be considered during this stage of construction.
