Job Summary:
Our client's Development Strategies and Standards group is seeking a software developer with specialized experience in Single Sign-On (SSO) authentication solutions to join its team of experienced professionals. This role involves collaborating with fellow developers to analyze, estimate, design, code, test, and support a variety of applications and enterprise integrations with a strong emphasis on developing and maintaining our custom SSO solution in alignment with business requirements.
As a software developer for our Custom SSO solution, you will be instrumental in guiding SSO projects through their full application lifecycle. This includes coding new SSO functionalities, enhancing our existing SSO framework, and seamlessly integrating SSO capabilities with their existing systems using SAML and OIDC. You'll also be responsible for managing development costs through precise project estimation and ensuring that SSO functionalities meet the security standards required for enterprise applications.
A robust technical background in SSO software development is required for this position. Experience with SAML and OIDC protocols is essential. Key responsibilities include ensuring compliance with their Application Development standards and striving for high-quality outcomes, with a special focus on SSO security and efficiency. The ideal candidate will have strong troubleshooting skills, the ability to work autonomously, and proficiency in identity and access management best practices.
Your participation in application sessions will specifically influence the development of SSO standards, where they continually explore new technologies to enhance user access management and authentication processes. A drive to learn and the skill to implement new technologies such as SSO solutions on a corporate scale are essential qualities for this role.
In this strategic role, your expertise in SSO will also involve identifying reuse opportunities to maximize enterprise services and components with a focus on SSO efficiencies and streamlined authentication mechanisms.
Your contributions as a software developer with a focus on SSO will support this goal, enhancing the agility and efficiency of authentication and access management processes.
