Job summary
Manage complete packaging development process including creation of packaging designs prototype development and performance testing Lead and execute package material qualifations at suppliers and packing validations at plants Initiate author and gain alignment to technical documents protocols reports tech assessmentsjustifications Manage packaging deliverables to meet aligned timeline Troubleshoot new existing packaging problems involving designs materials processes provide creative timely costeffective solutions Analyze drawings specifications of package materials Work closely with package material suppliers engineering operations sourcing Identify implement cost saving initiatives related to packaging materials labor efficiency transportation storage Work closely with Engineering optimize packaging supply base for cost lead time quality regionalization standardization supply assurance compliance customer regulatory internal requirements Specify recommend efficiency tools test methods develop validate packaging designs Work manufacturing department insure that the packaging designs are optimized for manufacturability Seniority level MidSenior level Employment type Contract Job function Design Manufacturing Industries Manufacturing
