    Job Description

    American Traveler is seeking an Occupational Therapist with at least one year of inpatient hospital experience and an active MN OT license for a weekday, acute care assignment.

    Responsibilities
    Position is based in an acute care hospital setting at a Level 3 trauma facility
    Patient population includes adults with diagnoses such as general deconditioning, post-op ortho, total joint replacement, neuro cases, and medical-surgical
    Typical therapy caseload averages 30-40 patients
    Monday through Friday day shifts with no call or weekends
    Potential to float to outpatient occupational therapy if needed
    EPIC EMR is used within the department
    Duties include evaluation and treatment of adult patients with a wide range of diagnoses in the acute care setting
    Orientation includes computer-based training and 1-on-1 EPIC and department orientation
    Charcoal grey scrubs or business casual dress code is required
    Applicants who have previously worked for this facility must have an end date at least 6 months prior to consideration
    Clinicians must badge in and out at the facility
    Local candidates within 80 miles are accepted, though pay rates may differ

    Requirements
    Active MN Occupational Therapy license required if applicable
    Active BLS certification from AHA is required
    Minimum of 1 year recent inpatient hospital experience within the past 3 years
    Experience with EPIC EMR preferred
    Willingness to float to outpatient therapy as needed
