- Conduct safety trainings for the plants and document training schedules for the facilities.
- Lead site safety audits and create reports to resolve any safety issues that arise to prevent future incidents.
- Work closely with coordinators to promote a safe environment across all facilities.
- Drive all corporate EHS campaigns and initiatives through toolbox talks and safety meetings.
- Provide documentation such as JSA's and SOP's.
- 5 years of experience working in a manufacturing or general industry environment. Construction experience is a plus.
- OSHA 500/501, 510/511 and the ability to teach OSHA 10 classes.
- Bilingual in English and Spanish (required)
- Familiar with 1910 and 1926 OSHA standards.
- Experienced writing safety policies and programs.

Shirley Parsons is currently working with a leading Engineering company looking to add an experienced Safety professional to their team. This EHS Manager will role will require travel around 3 sites in the Texas area and is in charge of implementing and enforcing safety policies and ensuring all facilities are in line with OSHA and EPA guidelines.
