- Collaborating with Fountain engineers to design and implement security guidelines, processes, and features that support a healthy security culture
- Reviewing and testing the security of features, applications, systems and cloud infrastructure
- Working with leadership to implement technology, policies, and controls that support our compliance with standards such as SOC2 or ISO 27001
- Automating detection of security issues and misconfigurations
- Leading security architecture and threat modeling discussions related to our product and infrastructure
- Keeping up with the latest security research across various technologies and subject areas
- 5+ years experience in the field of security
- 2+ years experience securing cloud-native applications in Azure, AWS, or GCP
- A deep understanding of web security fundamentals
- Familiarity with the entire Software Development Lifecycle, including DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and application containerization
- Comfort explaining security risks and concepts to both developers and less-technical audiences
- Familiarity with our tech stack (JavaScript/React, Ruby on Rails)
- Systems programming experience in languages like Go or Elixir
- Knowledgeable with industry-standard authentication protocols such SAML SSO, OpenID and OAuth2
- Hands-on experience integrating security and IAM products in mid to large enterprises.
