Constant overlapping physician coverage and excellent specialty back-up keeps the department running smoothly and the physicians enjoy a moderate pace of practice under two patients per hour.
Shifts are mostly 9 hours with the vast majority of overnights already covered by dedicated night doctors. Provider satisfaction is extremely high here.The group has deep ties to the hospital, a very collegial relationship with the specialists, receive a rare degree of support from the administration and are very stable.
