    WHAT WILL YOU DO?

    Job Title - Contract Specialist

    Location – Rocklin, CA Remote)

    Duration – 04 months

    Description:

    Job Description:


    • Under limited supervision, prepares CWA's, SAA and Change Orders and other contracts.


    • Ensure timely contract approvals according to relevant delegation of authority or governance


    • Reviews the validity of change order requests, negotiates co-terms and amounts and prepares contract change orders from field change order summaries


    • Handles contractor relationships to continually improve quality, service and cost


    • Maintains legal requirements for contracts, makes updates as required, and works with Law on contract review


    • Supports senior contract specialists with research and analysis


    • Supports the identification and mitigation of contract risk and issues


    • Prepares and delivers contract status reporting

    Minimum Qualifications:

    Bachelor's Degree in job-related discipline or equivalent experience

    Three years of work experience in contract and/or project management or other legal / regulatory field

    Desired Qualifications:


    • Significant training in, contracts, purchasing, organizational management, or process/project management.


    • Knowledge and experience in drafting contractual terms and language


    • Knowledge and experience in contract negotiations


    • Understanding of contractor safety requirements


    • Comfortable and effective verbal, written, and multi-channel communications to meet the needs of various audiences


    • Experience and capability with Ariba, SAP (invoicing / billing functions), database management


    • Competency using Excel, PowerPoint, and Word


    • Detail oriented, to ensure high quality, timely, accurate work products and to ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements
