What You Will Do:
- Join our State and Local Government practice and work with clients such as States, Counties, Cities, Non-Profit organizations, and Multi-lateral clients - Assist in various areas such as economic development, sustainability, disaster recovery, business design, organizational strategy, technology strategy, market analysis, financial modeling, operational analysis, process improvement, change management, technology implementation, risk management, compliance monitoring, and program management - Provide effective solutions to help our government clients overcome their toughest business and technology challenges
What You Will Need:
- At least 3 years of related experience - Currently enrolled in or have completed a Master's Degree from an accredited program (expected graduation between Summer 2023 and Summer Able to accommodate a summer 2024 start date - Authorized to work in the country with no need for sponsorship - Knowledge and passion for improving state and local government through academic courses or project work, preferred degree programs include business, computer science, management information systems, public policy, urban planning, and economics
What Would Be Nice To Have:
- Demonstrated success in leading client work, including conducting assessments, creating future state visions, developing implementation plans, managing stakeholders, and effective communication - Knowledge of key areas in state and local government, such as sustainability, urban planning, education, housing, transportation, justice, and administration - Strong skills in management consulting, including project management, financial modeling, operational modeling, and stakeholder management - Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
