    PRIMARY PURPOSE:

    The Project Manager will manage all aspects of complex projects from inception to conclusion.

    MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Lead the planning and implementation of a project.
    • Facilitate the definition of project scope, goals and deliverables.
    • Define project tasks and resource requirements.
    • Develop full scale project plans.
    • Manage project resource allocation.
    • Plan and schedule project timelines.
    • Track project deliverables using appropriate tools.
    • Provide direction and support to project team.
    • Constantly monitor and report on progress of the project to all stakeholders.
    • Present reports defining project progress, problems and solutions.
    • Implement and manage project changes and interventions to achieve project outputs.
    • Create a working environment that allows everyone to work to the best of their abilities.
    • Identifies project risks.
    • At the point of contact on assigned projects, performs a variety of highly skilled duties such as: assembling, coordinating and managing multidisciplinary technical review teams.
    • Facilitates and troubleshoots the myriad of problems associated with developing complex systems or with coordinating and development, and design projects.
    • Provides highly skilled technical and management advice and assistance to department management and personnel.
    • Responds to inquiries about projects.
    • Chairs various project review and pre-submittal meetings.
    • Establishes and maintains liaison as required with boards, committees and commissions.
    • Assists in developing departmental plans, goals, objectives, policies and procedures.
    • Coordinates schedules of staff and other interested parties.
    • Other responsibilities will be assigned an on an as-needed basis.
    • Monitor all customer fee for service milestone and ensure they are both completed and billed on time.

    QUALIFICATIONS:

    Required

    • Minimum of 1 3 years experience in project management.

    Preferred Additional

    • Pharmaceutical, OTC, and/or cosmetic industry experience a plus.

    Education and/or Training

    • Bachelors Degree in Business, Engineering, or other related field.

    Project Management Certificate or PMP preferred.
