Opportunity Overview
Blue Star is seeking an experienced licensed plumber to partner with us as an independent contractor supporting ongoing and upcoming residential construction projects. This opportunity is ideal for a self-employed professional looking to build a long-term working relationship with a professional and organized builder.
Scope of Work
- Install plumbing systems, fixtures, and equipment
- Perform rough-in and finish plumbing
- Troubleshoot and complete repairs as needed
- Read and interpret construction plans and specifications
- Coordinate with project managers and other trades
- Ensure all work meets applicable codes and Blue Star quality standards
Contractor Requirements
- Active plumbing license (as required by state/local regulations)
- Operates an independent business entity or sole proprietorship
- Own tools, equipment, and transportation
- General liability insurance (COI required)
- Ability to manage schedule and workload independently
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Professional communication and reliability
Compensation
- Project-based or negotiated per scope
- Payment terms outlined in contractor agreement
