Summary:

Assist professional caregiver in patient care delivery, equipment transport, room setup, clerical tasks, and maintenance functions.

Responsibilities:

Assist healthcare providers in procedures and equipment procurement.
Review patient documentation for changes and report to the nurse or physician.
Provide clerical support, quality assurance, safety checks, inventory management, and administrative assistance.
Offer clinical support including office cleaning, equipment maintenance, software troubleshooting, patient care, and new employee orientation.
Provide direct patient care as per care plan, record vital signs, measurements, and assist in various medical procedures.
Reinforce patient education provided by healthcare professionals.

Other Information

Education Requirements:

High School diploma or GED

Licensure/Certification Requirements:

Nurse Aide I Registry with North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services.
Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Provider certification.

Professional Experience Requirements:

1 year of clerical/customer service experience and 6 months of related nursing assistant experience.

Knowledge/Skills/and Abilities Requirements:

Fluency in verbal and written English. Ability to develop computer skills.
