    We are seeking a motivated and experienced Assistant Warehouse Manager to join our team. The Assistant Warehouse Manager will work closely with the Warehouse Manager to oversee daily operations in our warehouse facility, including receiving, storing, and distributing materials, as well as managing inventory and ensuring compliance with safety protocols and company policies.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Assist the Warehouse Manager in planning, organizing, and coordinating warehouse activities to ensure efficient operations and timely order fulfillment.
    • Supervise and train warehouse associates, providing guidance and support to ensure high productivity and adherence to quality standards.
    • Oversee receiving, inspection, and storage of incoming shipments, ensuring accuracy and proper handling of materials.
    • Coordinate order picking, packing, and shipping processes to meet customer requirements and delivery deadlines.
    • Monitor inventory levels and perform regular cycle counts to maintain accurate inventory records and minimize discrepancies.
    • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies, including proper use of equipment, PPE, and safe work practices.
    • Collaborate with other departments, such as sales and purchasing, to resolve inventory issues, address customer concerns, and optimize warehouse processes.
    • Assist with performance evaluations, disciplinary actions, and other personnel management tasks as needed.
    • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to streamline operations, reduce costs, and enhance customer satisfaction.
    Qualifications:
    • High school diploma or equivalent.
    • Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in warehouse operations, with at least 1 year in a supervisory or leadership role.
    • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
    • Knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS) and proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
    • Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
    • Comprehensive knowledge of and able to apply and enforce OSHA, DOT and other warehouse and material handling safety regulations.
    • Forklift certification or willingness to obtain certification.
    • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
    • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
    Schedule: Monday to Friday 7:00 am to 5:00 pm or 8:00 am to 6:00 pm
