This industry involvement often includes meetings after hours approximately 2-3 times per month and the occasional overnight.

    Who are we looking for?

    We are seeking a Full-Time Marketing Events Coordinator to become part of our expanding firm. This is a hybrid position, working both out of our Charlotte office and remotely. You will work directly with our Executive Team, specifically our Marketing Manager, team members throughout the firm, clients, and other industry professionals. We will also give you the opportunity to grow as we do. We are an equal opportunity employer.

    Your Duties and Responsibilities

    • Organizing promotional events such as trade shows, golf tournaments, and attending them to facilitate their success. Tasks involved are pre-event planning, promotional material coordination, attendee engagement, on-site coordination (set-up and breakdown of event spaces), and post-event evaluation.
    • Serve as a liaison between our company and industry associations/clients to coordinate promotional activities and events.
    • Assist in managing the marketing and events budget, ensuring that expenditures stay within allocated limits and provide the desired ROI.
    • Monitoring performance analytics on events. Including preparing regular reports, responding to specific inquiries, and proactively identifying and communicating relevant trends and business development opportunities.
    • Collaborate closely with the client engagement department to ensure seamless coordination of client-facing communications and events.
    • Networking with potential clients and industry professionals to increase brand awareness. Some overnight travel required.
    • Participate in committees hosted by apartment associations, advocating for the company's interests and staying informed about industry trends and developments.
    • Conduct market research.
    • Support marketing executives in organizing various projects.
    • Assist in the planning, and execute internal company events, including receptions, happy hours, and team-building activities, to foster a positive and engaging work culture.
    • Undertake daily administrative tasks to ensure the functionality and coordination of the departments activities.
    • Update spreadsheets, databases, and inventories with statistical, financial, and non-financial information.

    Qualifications

    • Excellent interpersonal skills with a natural ability to connect with diverse individuals.
    • Flexibility to work occasional evenings, overnights, and weekends for events.
    • Well-organized with a customer-oriented approach.

    • Basic computer skills.
    • Good understanding of marketing principles.

    Education and Experience Requirements:

    • 1-3 years of experience working with marketing technology in a professional services environment.
    • Experience preferred with Client Relationship Management (CRM) systems, and Experience Management / Firm Intelligence platforms.
    • Excellent organizational skills and ability to prioritize and complete simultaneous projects.
    • High School diploma: BSc in Marketing, Business or relevant field is a strong advantage.
