Exciting Opportunity:
Join our team at Children's Hospital of Michigan as a Respiratory Therapist, playing a crucial role in supporting patients requiring life support through ECMO technology under the guidance of the Clinical Manager and Chief of Pediatric General Surgery.
Essential Criteria:
1. Completion of an accredited Respiratory Care program and relevant certifications.
2. Valid Respiratory Therapist license in the State of Michigan.
3. Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in respiratory therapy, preferably in Critical Care settings.
4. Strong technical skills to operate ECMO equipment and provide critical patient care.
5. Ability to maintain physical stamina for patient care activities and equipment handling.
6. Leadership qualities, excellent observational skills, and effective communication abilities.
7. Commitment to continuous learning, development, and adherence to industry standards.
8. Full-time position based in Detroit, Michigan with rotational shifts at DMC Children's Hospital of Michigan.
