- Prepare and cook meats, vegetables, soups, sandwiches, gravies, etc.
- Unload and store food products. Inspect prepared food for proper temperature, appearance, and taste.
- Measure proper quantities used in menu recipes.
- Prepares and serves food.
- Operates deep fryer, steamer, mizer, slicer, and chopping equipments.
- Provides work direction for other employees.
- Completes temperature checks for HAACP checks daily.
- Maintains clean and sanitized work areas.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds.
- Must be certified as a food handler within 30 days of employment.
- Required to work special events including, but not limited to: Graduation, AG Fest, student move-in, new student orientation, Howe-lloween, and other large campus events.
- Knowledge of methods, materials, and appliances used in food preperation and service. Knowledge of food safety and sanitation procedures pertaining to food preperation and service.
- Knowledge of meat preperation procedures.
