    Procurement Analyst

    The Global Procurement Logistics team drives the procurement of goods and services needed to support Mattel's global operations. As Procurement Analyst, you will have the opportunity to actively support the strategic roadmap execution, analyze and provide visibility on internal and external metrics that drive decision making, support RFP execution, and implement controls that mitigate business and compliance risks.

    This role will actively support the procurement of Ocean Freight for Mattel's Global Logistics accordance with Mattel's Global Procurement Policy. This includes maintaining the global activity road map, developing Procurement KPI dashboard, supporting the Global Logistics Procurement team with complex RFP's, logistics network spend analysis, managing contract database and assisting in tail spend management.

    Responsibilities


    • Track and report ocean freight performance by lane.


    • Analyze and report ocean freight total cost


    • Execute internal controls requirements per region


    • Lead communications with Mattel Logistics teams at origin and destination


    • Liaison with Indirect Procurement teams for administrative processes efficiency


    • Support the freight audit process with the regional AP teams


    • Work with Finance on reporting and forecasting.


    • Build and maintain collaborative relationships with suppliers

    Key Qualifications and Experience needed for success:


    • Bachelor's Degree with business or supply chain management preferred, with a minimum of 1 year of procurement/supply chain experience or related field or combination of education and experience.


    • Proven mathematical and data analysis skills


    • Experience of working with Business Information Systems - Knowledge/experience with Oracle and Coupa systems a plus


    • Knowledge of supply chain fundamentals and Procure to Pay processes


    • Knowledge of key contracting principles, standard terms, etc.


    • Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, with all levels of the workforce, including senior leadership and executive management


    • Excellent interpersonal skills with positive, customer-focus approach in combination with the ability to work effectively in a team environment, fast-paced, and rapidly changing environment
