Lead Organizational Development Specialist

Summary:

The Lead Organizational Development (OD) Specialist will design, implement, and evaluate OD initiatives to enhance employee effectiveness, leadership capacity, and overall organizational performance. This role will analyze data to identify areas of improvement, work with oversight in organization-wide employee development initiatives, facilitate training, and collaborate to support critical change through HR business efforts.

This position requires a strategic thinker who can provide leadership/management coaching, internal consulting for improving organizational, leadership, team, and individual performance, and develop innovative training programs and activities.

The successful candidate will have experience using OD tools and techniques in a corporate organizational environment, as well as excellent oral/written communication, organizational, and multitasking abilities.

Salary: $90,000 - $110,000 per year

Responsibilities

Design and deliver leadership development & performance management programs to support organizational growth.
Develop, design, and deliver innovative, result-oriented training programs and activities.
Provide leadership/management coaching.
Provide internal consulting for improving organizational, leadership, team, and individual performance.
Design and implement methods for obtaining data to improve employee performance.
Consult with departments to develop career paths, including necessary training and on-the-job learning requirements/programs.
Evaluate current business processes and recommend improvements.
Conduct needs assessments to determine measures required to enhance employee job performance and overall company performance.
Create and implement programs that connect employees with business goals.
Facilitate and assist in developing key performance measures throughout the organization.
Identify performance gaps and determine training needs.
Develop job-specific training for assigned departments, including developing material.
Develop/revise and keep current all training manuals and materials.
Ensure BWWB University is kept current by gathering and submitting relevant material as assigned.
Collect required training documentation and assist in developing an annual training calendar.
Administer external training programs by marketing classes to other organizations using various tools.
Maintain and protect sensitive and private information by keeping employee records confidential.
Perform all work safely in accordance with established safety policies and procedures.
Perform other duties as needed.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in business, organizational design, or a job-related field.
Five (5) years of experience in organizational development, training, and development, including design, development, and delivery.
Demonstrated experience using OD tools and techniques in a corporate organizational environment.
Excellent oral/written communication, organizational, and multitasking abilities.
One of the below certifications is required within 18 months: ODPC – Organizational Development Process Certification, ODCP – Organizational Development Certification Program, or ODCC – Organizational Development Certified Consulting.
