    Description
    We are seeking a talented Automation Engineer to join our client at a leading pharmaceutical company in Raleigh, NC.

    As an Automation Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in designing, implementing, and maintaining automation solutions to optimize manufacturing processes.


    Your primary responsibilities will include:
    Collaborating with cross-functional teams to understand process requirements and identify opportunities for automation.
    Designing and developing automation systems, including specifying hardware and software components.
    Programming and configuring PLCs (Programmable Logic Controllers), HMIs (Human Machine Interfaces), and SCADA (Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition) systems.
    Integrating automation systems with existing manufacturing equipment and control systems.
    Conducting testing, troubleshooting, and debugging of automation systems to ensure reliable operation.
    Providing technical support and training to production personnel on automation systems.
    Documenting designs, configurations, and procedures to maintain accurate records and facilitate knowledge transfer.

    Requirements:
    Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
    Proven experience in automation engineering, preferably in the pharmaceutical or biotech industry.
    Proficiency in PLC programming languages (e.g., ladder logic, function block diagram).
    Familiarity with SCADA software (e.g., Wonderware, Ignition) and HMI design principles.
    Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
    Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
