    The Supply Chain Manager

    is responsible for all core functional planning, procurement and inventory control processes. He or she is responsible to oversee and/or lead customer management related activities for key customer accounts.

    MAIN JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
    Essential Functions
    Provide daily leadership and direction to the supply chain team aligned with Viant Values.

    As a member of the plant leadership team, accountable for key site metrics (safety, quality, delivery, cost and inventory) and functional performance.

    Lead the supply chain team including goal setting, development, and performance management.
    Drive adoption of Viant target operating model for supply chain processes and systems.
    Drives continuous improvement activity through all areas of responsibility.
    SIOP and Production Planning
    Facilitate the site SIOP process
    Lead/participate in weekly customer management activities (i.e. management calls, project reviews, etc.)
    Manage development and execution of site master schedule.
    Create and maintain site capacity model delivering optimal utilization of all manufacturing assets.

    Develop and execute proactive inventory management initiatives to achieve on time delivery performance and service level, while optimizing inventory investment.

    Interpret and understand the needs of multiple customers. Develop and communicate product supply strategies that meet both customer and Viant objectives
    Procurement & Sourcing
    Responsible for oversight of tactical procurement, supplier engagement/management, and Supply Chain Risk Management for the site.
    Support buyers in purchasing negotiations, control PPV and logistics expenses.

    Manage and minimize material shortages by utilizing the systems and tools, executing actions messages, updating master data, having proactive communication with suppliers.

    Warehouse & Inventory Control
    Responsible for materials management including inbound receipt, production staging, return from production and finished goods shipments.
    Lead Cycle count process and annual physical inventory in line with company standards.
    Customer Operations
    Drive Key Customers S&OP
    Responsible for contract review, order entry and customer communications.
    Performs other duties as assigned.

    POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

    Education:
    Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field.
    APICS CSCP or CPIM Certification Preferred.

    Experience:
    7-10 years' experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably medical device in operations or supply chain

    5 years' experience in Materials Management or Supply Chain business processes and practices including management of raw material and finished goods warehousing.

    3 years managing teams
    Knowledge of regulated environments in medical device manufacturing and ISO13485 a plus
    Robust understanding of MRP / ERP and Advance Planning systems and data analysis
    Change management
    Critical thinking and formal problem solving skills/methodologies
    Interpersonal communications
    Excellent oral and written communication skills
    Ability to manage several projects simultaneously
    Working knowledge of LEAN / Six Sigma methodologies
    Able to operate both strategically and tactically based on the needs of the business.
    Project management
    Team leadership

    Physical Requirements:
    Work in an office environment with varying amounts of walking, sitting, standing, twisting and turning
    Occasional light lifting
    No unusual or excessive physical demands
