    Director of Operations
    Department: Administrative
    Type: Full – Time, Salaried - Exempt

    Immediate Supervisor:
    General Manager

    Supervision Exercised: Event Services Department, Operations Department
    General Statement of Duties:This position assists and directs the booking and scheduling of the facility, as well as assists the General Manager in all matters of operating the facility.

    This position directly oversees the Operations department as well as the Event Services Department. This position also assumes all duties of the Facility Operations Director in the absence of that position.


    Areas of Responsibility:

    1. Ensures that all events are coordinated and executed in a professional manner.2. Maintain proper, on-going relationships and communications with tenants, touring staff, and public for positive image.3. Oversees all Operations Management and Event Services professional, full-time hiring.4. Advances all technical and physical show information.5. Executes and/or participates in all event settlements.6. Generates all Facility computer aided drawings.7. Performs labor union negotiations.8. Directly oversees all facility design and construction projects.9. Assists with the booking duties of the facility.10. Administer lease agreements and facility contracts.11. Assists the General Manager in all phases of facility management.12. Other duties as assigned.


    Qualifications:

    Demonstrative knowledge of operations within a multi-use event center, with the emphasis on project management, ice maintenance, experience in conversion, and leadership. Five years previous experience in a facility related position with management responsibilities is required. Experience in booking, promoting, show advancement is a plus, but not required.
