Job Title: Clinical Nurse Coordinator (CNC)

Location: Kissimmee, FL

Estimated Salary: $35-47/hour

About the Role:

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Clinical Nurse Coordinator RN to join our team. This role is accountable to the Nursing Director for clinical and operational functions of an assigned unit.

In this position, you will manage the unit's clinical and operational activities in the absence of the Director, working collaboratively with other members of the management team to deliver high-quality patient-centered care.

The successful candidate will direct, monitor, and evaluate nursing care in accordance with established policies and procedures, serve as a resource person for staff, and model a commitment to the organization's vision, mission, and values.

Key Responsibilities:

Direct and oversee staff roles on the unit
Coordinate patient placement within the unit according to acuity, skill mix, and staff availability
Assist in identifying and addressing educational needs of the unit
Participate and direct patient care conferences, addressing issues such as patient discharge needs
Ensure that rounds are made with physicians
Keep informed of patient condition changes, making appropriate clinical decisions
Accountable for orders, ensuring they are appropriate and carried out in a timely manner

Requirements:

2 Years of Recent acute care Charge Nurse Open Heart RN (CVOR) experience REQUIRED
Florida RN license and/or approved multistate RN license required
NIH Stroke Scale must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
Bachelors Degree, or Registered Nurse Diploma, or Associate Degree
Basic Cardiac Life Support, or BCLS Instructor must be obtained before employment start date
Advanced Cardiac Life Support, or ACLS Instructor must be obtained within 6 months of employment start date
PALS Pediatric Adv Life Support, or PALS Instructor must be obtained within 6 months of employment start date
Neonate Resuscitate must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
