Summary: This position is responsible for providing residents and family members with support and information at Bethesda North Pointe. The social worker provides tours to prospective residents and family members and coordinates the admission process. This role will also manage referrals to and from other agencies, ensuring a smooth transition for all. The social worker serves as the family liaison and will be the primary contact for family members. This position oversees the grievance process and is responsible for thorough follow-up of all concerns. The social worker will coordinate and lead resident council meetings and implement action steps based on the outcomes of the meetings. This position oversees the Life Enrichment department, ensuring that engaging, purposeful living activities are being provided to the residents of Bethesda North Pointe. Other duties include processing long term care insurance verifications, managing the organization's CRM platform, inputting admission information, and miscellaneous clerical tasks.

Preferred Experience/Qualifications:

• This position may be licensed but is not required.
• Previous experiencing in social work or gerontology.
• An associate or bachelor's degree in a human services field, including, but not limited to, sociology, gerontology, special education, rehabilitation counseling, and psychology.

Scheduled Hours:

• 40 hours/week, Monday – Friday, 8:00 am-4:30 pm.
