    At C3, our Surety Client Managers are key in providing our clients with the experience that sets C3 apart in the industry. Client Managers provide fast, effective service of the day to day needs of our mid-sized and moderately complex clients by being knowledgeable in coverages, carrier guidelines, underwriting, and legislative changes, maintaining relationships with clients and carrier representatives and assisting in suggesting new lines of coverage for existing clients.

    WHO YOU NEED TO BE
    • You are the best of the best Your producers and clients love you and you know how to keep them delighted
    • You have the needed expertise and experience (3-5+ years) to ensure smooth new and renewal marketing, placement, and policy delivery to producers or clients.
    • You have servicing of accounts down to a science.
    • You demonstrate a high level of discretion when collecting and dealing with client data.
    • You know that quality is key, and your attention to detail is one of your best traits, along with being well organized, excellent at math, and having some great written and oral communication skills.
    • Technology is your friend - you usually know all the shortcuts and what you don't know, you learn quickly.
    • You know that attitude is everything. You come to work ready to be a team player every day, even if that means having to step up to other duties from time to time.
    • You have an active P&C license. If you have a college degree, that sends you to the top of the list, but it isn't required. If you have an insurance designation, that's even better
    • You hold an active Notary Public designation and are able to hold Power of Attorney appointments with surety companies.
    THE JOB

    A Surety Client Manager contributes to C3's success by performing the following tasks:
    • Independently service a designated book of surety business of one or more producers.
    • Respond to client inquiries, address underwriting questions, and communicate with client on new and renewal business, change riders and changes in premium.
    • Provide professional and timely communications with clients, colleagues, and carriers.
    • Assist producer in preparing account submissions to surety carriers.
    • Quote and issue new bonds timely and accurately.
    • Organize and maintain client files as well as properly document management system with all communications and bond transactions.
    • Delegate invoicing to appropriate team members.
    • Prepare and finalize necessary documents, agreements, and applications, including consents, riders, and letters.
    • Accountable for retention and proper handling of expiration list and renewals.
    • Develop compliance communication and handle countersignature requirements.
    • Ensuring underwriting requirements are met, and bonds are issued in compliance with authority and underwriting guidelines.
    • Handling financial aspects of an account timely and accurately - including invoicing and corrections, responding to client accounting questions, accounting department inquiries, and following up with clients on receivables.
    • Stay up to date on industry trends and changes including state and governmental regulations.
    • Participate in continuing education and industry events.
    • Maintain confidentiality in review of client's financial documents to include financials, credit information, business plans and contracts, and client's project and performance history.
    • Maintain files and documentation of communication in accordance with company policy and professional standards outlined by the Department of Insurance.
    • Adherence to the stated expectations of the C3's Quality Management Program.
    • Perform other responsibilities and duties as needed.

    • Must be able to learn and operation all C3 systems as required, including an Agency Management System

    The applicable base salary range for this role is $80,000 to $100,000. The base pay offered will be determined on factors such as experience, skills, training, location, certifications, and education. Decisions will be determined on a case-by-case basis.
