Located on the Upper West Side of Manhattan, Pine Management, Inc. is currently seeking an experienced Handyperson / Painter to join our team. Pine Management, Inc. has over 50 years of experience as owners and operators of multi-family property and we are currently looking to expand the portfolio. At this time, Pine Management, Inc.'s portfolio consists of 38 properties located throughout New York City.

The candidate must be a highly motivated and detail-oriented professional who works well as a team player and can operate in a fast-paced environment. You will have the opportunity to work with seasoned professionals in a collaborative environment. Anticipated work schedule is Monday to Friday from 8:00am to 4:30pm. The majority of time will be spent at the various property locations doing repairs, maintenance, apartment turnover work, and other on-site responsibilities as needed.

The right candidate should possess the following:

§ 3+ years of handyperson and painting experience

§ Experience with all painting (taping, compounding, plastering, sanding, priming) and finishing trades (tile work, grout, caulk, silicone), as well as light plumbing, electric, carpentry/sheetrock, and appliance repair work

§ Must be able to communicate effectively with our staff of maintenance directors, property managers, office managers, as well as our vendors, suppliers, and contractors

§ Must be an extremely well-organized and detail-oriented professional with a high emphasis on the ability to communicate and follow-up on tasks through completion

Start date for the position is immediate. Compensation will be commensurate to the level of experience.

NYC Pay Transparency Law: minimum = $18.00/hour / maximum = $30.00/hour
