- Under the guidance of a Radiographer or Provider, performs radiographic exams that produce diagnostic radiographs.
- Must follow the guidelines of radiation protection and ALARA principles during all procedures to ensure patient safety.
- Current enrollment in a two-year or four-year program in radiologic technology, accredited by the Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology (JRCERT) or American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
- Basic Life Support (BLS) training or re-training is required during orientation prior to providing patient care.
