    What You Will Do:

    Responsible for creating and enhancing resident programs and activities, in conjunction with the Health Care Coordinator (RN) and Life Enrichment Coordinator, to promote physical, intellectual, social and emotional and spiritual stimulation and engagement of residents as well as interaction between residents and staff.

    Develop a written plan of monthly programs and events, including spontaneous programing of events. Responsible for spontaneous programming as well.
    Meet with HCC on a regular basis to communicate plans, highlights, special challenges, required support, etc.
    Coach care staff to keep them informed regarding programs and events, as well as their role and responsibilities.
    Manage and maintain themed programming spaces, life skills stations, and memory cue boxes for residents.
    Responsible for the maintenance of Memory Care Program.


    Why You Are Qualified:

    High school Diploma or GED equivalent2 years' experience in working with persons with dementia including leading groups, creating social interactions, and providing assistance with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs).Experience assessing resident needs and developing approaches to reduce discomfort / enhance daily well-being.

    Hired candidates will be required to successfully complete a criminal background check, valid references, and other pre-employment practices as required by law.
