Alianza is looking for an experienced and talented Front-end Software Engineer to work in our technology focused SaaS company. You will contribute code, work closely with UX, design technical implementations, and mentor other software engineers as deliver customer value through technical excellence. This is a Utah HQ based position.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

• Be responsible for the UI of our web based tools and portals
• Develop new user-facing features
• Build reusable code and libraries for maximum reuse and consistency
• Coordinate with UX designer, as well as Back-end developers to implement desired functionality
• Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs
• Optimize application for maximum speed and scalability
• Recommend appropriate technologies to implement new features
• Design and implement web analytics
• Contribute automated tests
• Collaborate on architecture decisions and coding standards

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 5 years of front-end software development experience
• Experience and expertise in working with Angular or ReactJS (or equivalent)
• Demonstrated mentorship and technical leadership experience
• Proficient understanding of web markup, including HTML5 and CSS3
• Excellent understanding of server-side CSS pre-processing platforms, such as LESS and SASS
• Proficient understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues and ways to work around them
• Familiarity with new frameworks and prototyping tools
• Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as GIT
• Experience working in an agile (Scrum/Kanban) development environment
• Ability to deliver initiatives from conception through completion on time, within budget, and on or beyond scope
• Must have a strong sense of ownership and pride in work completed
• Must be able to complete work in a consistent and professional manner with minimal supervision
