Job summary
Under direct supervision, an employee in this class performs elementary professional environmental health work while undergoing supervised in-service training. The incumbent assists in executing and enforcing the provisions of the Public Health Law, the New York State and Suffolk County Sanitary Codes, and New York State Environmental Conservation Law.
