    About the role:

    In this fast paced, highly visible role, you will support a broad range of human resource activities across the manufacturing plant; including collaboration with plant management, employee engagement, performance management, employee relations, coaching & counseling, policy interpretation & administration, compliance, training and talent development.

    Job Responsibilities:

    • Work collaboratively with facility management to provide superior human resources services to our employees and facilities
    • Maintain relationships, interaction, and visibility with all levels of the organization.
    • Act as a business partner with regional management to lead HR initiatives at the sites, institute work improvements which positively impact business profitability and raise employee engagement
    • Provide a dedicated and effective HR advisory service to employees that covers absence and health issues, conduct and capability, grievances, organizational change, and all other employee-relations matter
    • Participate in development of HR objectives and systems, including metrics, queries, and ongoing reports for company requirements
    • Assist in administering benefits, compensation, and employee performance programs
    • Suggest new procedures and policies for improving employee experience as well as the efficiency of HR department and company
    • Ensure compliance with local and national regulations and applicable employment laws, and update policies and procedures when necessary
    • Develop and ensure implementation of an employee relations strategy
    • Educate and coach line management on company policies, plant work rules, as well as applicable federal and state regulations, to ensure fair and consistent delivery of human resources products and service
    • Work with regional management to lead the planning and implementation of communication strategies to deliver accurate, consistent, and timely information on business issues and employee concern
    • Research and introduce human resources best practice concepts to ensure that the organization is utilizing leading edge human resources technology and proactively considering and implementing new strategies
    • Demonstrate a commitment to quality performance through personal example by adopting a customer-based approach to business support
    • Drive process improvements designed to increase efficiency within the function and organization
    • Enhance the position by thoroughly reviewing all activities performed in order to improve the quality and productivity of services provided

    Basic Qualifications:

    • Associates degree in HR, Business Administration or a related discipline
    • At least six years of multi-faceted human resources management experience within a manufacturing environment
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
    • Ability to lead and influence others
    • Experience in a global / international manufacturing environment desired
    • Experience working and influencing in a matrix organization desired
