    Job Description:
    General Description:
    This position will assist campus Parking & NOVACard Supervisor with various administrative, financial, and customer support services related to campus parking, transportation, and NOVACard operations .

    Duties and Tasks:
    • Partake in preparing and reviewing all campus parking financials in accordance with NVCC policies and procedures.
    • Assist in overseeing Front Office and Parking Enforcement Staff.
    • Monitor and react to customer concerns in regards to Campus Parking Operations.
    • Maintain and oversee event parking on campus.
    • Coordinate the collection of funds from on campus VPRS machines
    • Assist in scheduling and assigning daily work activities
    • Coordinate training of all new Front Office and Enforcement staff in their job duties.
    • Supervise all Front Office and Enforcement personnel under the direction of the Parking & NOVACard Supervisor.
    • Monitor citation counts and ensure all parking regulations are enforced accurately and fairly.
    • Ensure adequate coverage of parking services at all times by coordinating breaks and leave requests.
    • Interpret parking policy and procedure for internal and external customers.
    • Ensure high level of customer service is being maintained by staff in all aspects of campus parking operations.
    • Organize and schedule any necessary functions for campus Event Parking
    Special Assignment:
    May be required to perform other duties as assigned. May be required to assist the agency or state government generally in the event of an emergency declaration by the Governor.

    *This position is restricted and is funded with non-continuous or non-recurring funding and is subject to continuation based on fiscal year funds and the needs of the College.

    Minimum Qualifications:

    • Excellent customer service skills.
    • Ability to supervise and train others.
    • Basic computer skills operating in a Windows environment.
    Required Qualifications:
    • Experience working in an office environment
    • Customer Service experience
    • Experience in administrative and financial functions.
    • Experience in operational support
    • Experience in parking operations.
    • Valid Driver's License and good driving record.
    Preferred Qualifications:
    • Previous experience working in Higher Education
    • Cash handling experience.
    • Experience working in a College or University ID Card department.
