- High School Diploma or General Education Degree required, some college preferred

- CPCS or CPMSM preferred.

Description
Overview:
Under the direction of the Medical Staff Manager, the Credentialing Specialist provides support for the Medical Staff Services department. This position performs a variety of confidential administrative and credentialing functions for the Medical Staff. Initiates and follows through on the appointment/change in status process for the medical staff and allied health professionals making sure that applications and supporting documents are up to date and current.
The person in this position works under general supervision, is responsible for various shifts, may be subject to over 40 hours per week and/or callback as required, and may also be required to remain on campus immediately before, during, and after severe weather and/or disasters.
